Codenamed Project Neptune, the new submersible is the brainchild of a creative collaboration between Triton Submarines and the classic car manufacturer Aston Martin.

Project Neptune marries Triton’s diving and operational expertise with Aston Martin’s design, materials, and craftsmanship. Overseen by Aston Martin Consulting, the partnership has shaped a unique concept that will lead to an exclusive, strictly-limited edition vehicle. Bringing another 'luxury toy' to the yachting world, Project Neptune has a length of only 1.8 metres, holds 3 people and will reach speeds of up to three knots. The production target is at least 10 per year, each selling for around $4 million.

Launched at the recent Monaco Yacht Show 2017 which took place from 27th to 30th Septemeber in the illustrious Port Hercule in Monaco, Aston Martin is not the only luxury car brand to venture into the yachting world. Studio F.A. Porsche also unveiled their collaboration with yacht builders, Dynamiq and the new luxury yacht GTT 115.
