1. Les Grands Chais Monegasques Wine Cellar, Condamine

A wonderfully historic wine cellar close to the port of Monaco and in the heart of the Condamine district.

This is the oldest cellar in the Principality of Monaco and they currently sell our wines in the most prestigious establishments, and offer the widest selection of fine wines and rare spirits, from the largest producers to small winemakers who grow their own crops. They also sell a small number of very high-quality delicatessen products.

It was at the very beginning of the 1900s that Mr Ginocchio, a Monegasque merchant, decided to set up a wine business, 100 metres or so from where the Port of Monaco.

Open Monday to Saturday from 09:00 until 19:00. They also offer tasting evenings and the venue for private events.

BOMO - English bookshop, Condamine shop interior

2. BOMO - English bookshop, Condamine

Monaco's only independent English-language bookshop offering a selection of fiction, non-fiction, children's and adult books.

New York native Siri Khalsa, a graduate of Harvard’s Kennedy School, opened BOMO, the English-language bookshop in the Principality at the beginning of January 2014.

BOMO is much more than a bookstore – it’s a place where people can come together, explore new ideas and have a sense of community,” Siri comments.

It also hosts a busy schedule of events around reading, writing and story-telling for both children and adults.

Open Monday to Friday from 10:00 until 19:00 and Saturday 12:00 to 18:00.

Atelier Galerie Floriane Maels

3. Floriane Maels Gallery, Eze

For many years, Floriane Maels has developed two series in parallel.

On the one hand, the fervent expression of the landscapes soaked with coloured contrasts of her native Provence, on the other hand, the exploration of the maze of the human nature in her “Emergences” series.

4. Chocolaterie de Monaco, Condamine

Suppliers of chocolates to the Royal household, what visit to Monaco would be complete without a trip to this famous chocolaterie and a wee sample of their fine treats.

The Chocolaterie de Monaco is located on Place de la Vistation, a stone's throw from the Prince's Palace. Les Pêcheurs car park, situated just below the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco, offers more than 500 parking spaces. Lifts and escalators take you to the main entrance of the museum. The shop is only 2 minutes walking distance.

It is open non-stop Monday to Saturday and on some Sundays. Shop: 09:30 - 18:30. Tea Room: 09:30 - 17:30.

5. Galerie Birch Monaco

Contemporary gallery, newly opened in June 2017, showcasing the works of artists from the CoBrA art movement.

The gallery also represents other artists from the avant-garde movement and will have a variety of exhibitions and events throughout the year. Check out our Events Calendar for upcoming shows and events. 

Le Metropole Shopping Centre, Monte-Carlo

6. Le Metropole Shopping Centre

Glamorous shopping centre with marble stairs, elaborate details and stunning chandeliers. The shops are high-end and luxury and in a beautiful relaxing setting.

There are a choice of cafes, restaurants and food shops, as well as some high-end boutiques and luxury fashion and home interior labels. You can also find electronic shops and a range of jewellery boutiques.

A good option on a rainy day or during the summer when the heat becomes too much. Open from Monday to Saturday from 10:00 until 20:00. Open Sundays from 3rd July until the 21st August.

There is parking on site for 130 cars. It is open 24hrs.

Monte-Carlo Pavilions, Monte-Carlo

7. Monte-Carlo Pavilions

The Monte-Carlo Pavilions consist of five pebble-shaped spaces, with a total surface area of 2,500 m², large enough for twenty shops. With their rounded, futuristic shapes, the pavilions are located between the avenue de la Costa and the Place du Casino.

The temporary pavilions are meant to last 4 years, which corresponds to the duration of the renovation works at the Hôtel de Paris Monte-Carlo, along Avenue des Beaux-Arts, and the Sporting d’Hiver.

Designed by architects Chérif Jahlan and Richard Martinet, and landscape architect Jean Mus, building was completed in 2014 at a cost of €17million.

The shops inside are luxury brands such as Alexander Mc Queen, Akris, Balenciaga, Bottega Veneta, Boucheron, Chanel, Chopard, Yves Saint Laurent and Zendrini.
