Blue Bay Restaurant, Monte-Carlo style of cuisine

1. Blue Bay Restaurant

Whether you’re sitting on the terrace with a panoramic view or opposite the open kitchen, the Blue Bay offers an unforgettable culinary experience and is located in the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel.

It is run by Chef Marcel Ravin and was awarded a Michelin star. The cuisine is innovative and the décor is stylish. Originally from the French West Indies, Ravin shares his love for creative cuisine inspired by local Mediterranean and exotic Caribbean flavours. He uses a subtle mix of herbs and spices to maintain balance and avoid confusion of flavours.

Brunch is served here every Sunday from 12:30-15:00 and is worth the trip to enjoy the food as well as the magnificent views.

Open every day for breakfast 07:00-10:30 and dinner from 19:30-22:00 Tuesday - Saturday.

2. Louis XV Restaurant

Considered by many to be the finest restaurant on the Riviera, this Alain Ducasse delight has an opulent and dazzling setting in the heart of the Hôtel de Paris and holds three Michelin stars.

The menu is a Mediterranean and is a seasonal symphony of a style and haute cuisine that Alain Ducasse qualifies in one word as "essential". Specialities include Mediterranean sea bass studded with marjoram and cooked flat, Pyrenean baby lamb seasoned with Espelette pepper and roasted in the fireplace, and fennel and offal "alla romana".

The restaurant’s new look, designed by Patrick Jouin and Sanjit Manku, highlights the easy-going lifestyle of the French Riviera.

Lunch on Sunday and Monday, and Dinner from Thursday to Monday.

3. Nobu Restaurant

Recognized worldwide for his amazing cuisine, mixing traditional Japanese dishes and South American spices and aromas.

“For me, cooking is most about giving my customers little surprises that will lead them to make discoveries about their own latent tastes. It’s about communicating my kokoro through every single dish I make”.

New for 2015, the restaurant will be open for lunch every Sunday from noon to 4pm. A part of the restaurant will be dedicated to children so you can dine in peace and they can enjoy a special Sunday of their own.

Every day, from 6pm to 9pm, enjoy a fabulous Happy Hour aperitif with Nobu bites and good music!

This is true fine dining and reservations are recommended.

Open for lunch from 12:30-14:00 and dinner from 19:30-22:00.

Château Eza offers a Michelin recommended restaurant serving à la carte French and Mediterranean cuisine against the stunning backdrop of the French Riviera.

Dine in the indoor glass-edged room with retractable roof for fully enjoying the sun-kissed Riviera weather or on one of the several outdoor terraces, all overlooking the sparkling azure waters of the Cote d'Azur.

The restaurant is open for lunch from 12:30 to 14:30. Tapas service and à la carte salads are served from 15:00 to 18:00. The restaurant is open in the evenings from 19:30 to 22:00.

6. Restaurant des Rois, Beaulieu Sur Mer

The jewel in the crown of La Réserve de Beaulieu hotel is this gastronomic restaurant which has one Michelin star.

Chef Olivier Samson carries one Michelin star and serves a refined cuisine. The restaurant itself has a period setting with large bay windows overlooking the sea.

The restaurant is open daily throughout the majority of the year, from just before Christmas, up until early October.

7. La Table de Patrick Raingeard Restaurant, Eze

The Cap Estel gourmet restaurant or "La Table de Patrick Raingeard" as it is known has one Michelin star.

The restaurant showcases fresh produce directly harvested from the hotel's kitchen garden. The menu subtly combines the freshness of seasonal produce and original flavours, with fine scents from the Mediterranean and spices from beyond.

An amazing position too. Even if you're not splashing out on a room here, it's worth the trip.

8. Le Cap Restaurant, Saint Jean Cap Ferrat

Michelin-starred chef, Didier Anies, recognised as Meilleur Ouvrier de France in 2000, has created a gourmet cuisine at this restaurant; one which is unfussy, full of flavour and low key yet elegant.

Specials include lasagne with Aquitaine caviar, young leeks with pearl drops of olive oil, Allaiton de l’Aveyron Saddle of Lamb and succulent Roast John Dory on the bone with confit of lemon.

Open daily from 19:30 to 21:30.

Joel Robuchon Restaurant, Monte-Carlo interior

9. Metropole Monte-Carlo Restaurant

Located in Hotel Metropole, this restaurant is lead by Executive Chef Christophe Cussac. It holds two Michelin stars.

This is a culinary experience as well as a visual experience thanks to the theatre décor and the outstanding view over Monte-Carlo from the terrace. The cuisine is Mediterranean, with Michelin-star touches.

Open every day except on Wednesday for lunch and dinner.

Chef Bruno Cirino prepares Mediterranean dishes that carefully showcase the flavours of local produce. A light and creative cuisine that you can enjoy in their elegant dining room with vaulted ceilings and frescoes or their shaded terrace overlooking the sea.

There are various tasting menus to choose from, featuring mouthwatering dishes. Combine them with a bottle from their extensive wine list, carefully selected by head sommelier Marion.

The restaurant is open for dinner only Wednesday - Sunday except in July and August when it is open every evening.

11. Mirazur Restaurant, Menton

With magnificent views over the Mediterranean and the beautiful town of Menton, right in the border between France and Italy, this restaurant serves refined French and Mediterranean cuisine.

Chef Mauro Colagreco offers a whole culinary experience at this restaurant. Their 11 courses tasting menu includes simple dishes based on local ingredients carefully chosen and prepared. Their selection feature only seasonal ingredients combined in imaginative ways.

Many of the vegetables, fruits and flowers they use are grown in their own garden with no fewer than 100 varieties including 40 types of tomato.
