Course du Trophee, La Turbie

Running or hiking race around the heights of the Riviera

Three races starting and finishing in La Turbie, all with spectacular views of the mountains and the sea.

The three races all follow much the same circuit, starting from La Turbie and following the route of the Grande Corniche that overlooks the bay. There is a 14.5km race for runners with 360m of positive elevation gain. There are shorter relay 8km and 6.5km race for walkers and runners. Finally, Nordic walkers can take part in a 10km race.

All the races are great introductions to trail racing, with t-shirts and medals for all finishers. To sign up and for more information, click on the web link.

Where and when

The course starts in La Turbie at:

  • 08:45 14.5km runners
  • 09:45 14.5km hikers
  • 10:30 6km Nordic walkers

The 14.6km route heads up round the Fort de la Revere to Col de Eze, circling back along the Grande Corniche to finish back at La Turbie.

The 6km Nordic walking race starts at the Hotel Hermitage near the Col d'Eze and continues along the Grande Corniche to the finish line at La Turbie.
