World Monaco Music - Voice, Piano, Violin
Prestigious music competition hosted in Monaco
Three days of intense competition to receive the €30,000 Rainier III Prize. The Monaco World Music Masters competition offers talented artists, all previously finalists in an international competition, the chance to compete against each other.
Founded in 1989 by Jean-Marie Fournier, who also owns the Salle Gaveau in Paris, this musical competition draws its inspiration from sporting events in which the world’s best players compete for first place.
Each year sees a different discipline. 2019 hosts the Monte-Carlo Violin Masters and 2020 will be the Monte-Carlo Voice Masters.
Only artists who have already competed in the finals of an international competition are eligible to enter this event. They must also have an extensive repertoire (between four and five hours of music) and be prepared to take part in a rapid succession of highly-competitive rounds.
