The 2014 Monaco Yacht Show

The sun shone and water glistened for this glamorous and elegant weekend of yachting celebrations.

The 2014 event saw a fantastic 500 exhibitors on the dock side showcasing yacht builds, interiors, brokerages and sales. In the water there were 115 superyachts crammed into the harbour for visitors to experience the yachts up close and personal, ad this included 40 new builds. The smallest yacht on show was 24 metres and the largest an amazing 91.5 metres.

Of the visitors, 80% were International coming from a total of 38 different nationalities, a truly international event. The organising of something this big is a huge undertaking and this year there were nearly 300 people setting up for this glorious weekend of yachting to ensure that it ran smoothly. These included 120 hostesses, stewards and drivers, 25 security agents, 30 maintenance officers along with 70 stand fitters and 50 service providers.
