After a weekend where Lewis Hamilton dominated the track in Monaco, his Mercedes team mate Nico Rosberg takes the victory.

A crushing blow for Hamilton who was hoping for his first win here since 2008. But the Monaco course is notorious and lived up to its reputation for being a track where overtaking is all but impossible.

Despite leading the race, a crash by Max Verstappen, led the Mercedes Team to call Hamilton into the pits. His team mate Rosberg and Ferrari driver Sebastian Vettel did not stop and both passed Hamilton before he re-joined the race. Even with a huge pace advantage Hamilton was unable to overtake the other two drivers and so came in third.

A great result for both Mercedes and Ferrari teams, however not a good personal result for Lewis Hamilton who was noticeably upset.
