Famous yacht, the Christina O, in the bay of Antibes

Once owned by world famous Greek tycoon Aristotle Onassis, this magnificent 99m long yacht is now rented out for charter...if you have a spare €315,000 for the week.

Now worth a staggering $25 million, Onassis actually bought the Canadian vessel for $34,000 in 1954 and then spent an additional $4 million to restore and renovate the craft. He named the yacht after his daughter so it became the Christina O. The yacht led a life of glitz and glamour that most of us can only dream of, hosting guests such as Frank Sinatra, Greta garbo and Richard Burton. Elizabeth Taylor, Aga Khan, JFK and Winston Churchill were also amongst those invited onboard.

Several legendary unions were celebrated on the yacht; Onassis' own marriage to Jackie Kennedy in 1968, and prior to that in 1956, the wedding reception of Prince Rainier III of Monaco when he married American actress Grace Kelly.

On the death of her father in 1975, Christina Onassis gifted the yacht to the Greek government as a presidential yacht. In 2001 the yacht was purchased and meticulously restored to provide today's guests with the same decadent experience of decades past. A new beginning for the Christina O.

Offering the ultimate luxury accommodation, Michelin star cuisine and an onboard six Senses spa, the Christina O must be hosting someone very special in Antibes.
