Take to the track on two wheels

featured in News & reviews Author Pam Williamson, Monaco Editor Updated

Ok, so you don't get to drive around the infamous F1 circuit in Monte-Carlo in a Formula One car, but...you can join some of the biggest names in the sport on a charity bike ride around the streets of Monaco and onto Ventimiglia in Italy.

Following the success of the last 3 years' events, the Sean Edwards Foundation put into gear the fourth annual Monaco Bike Ride in remembrance of Sean. Drivers and friends of Sean’s attended and supported the Foundation that bears his name, its vital role in raising awareness of and implementing changes to enhance driver safety on the track worldwide.

The 2017 event will take place on Tuesday 23rd May, just days before the infamous Monaco Grand Prix. The barriers will be in place, the stands will be erected along the Port Hercule and no doubt there will be a slew of F1 drivers and team embers swanning around the track. This very special charity bike event will give you the chance to get up close and personal with some of those drivers and to take to the hallowed tarmac on your road bike.
