Bolt warm-ups for World Champs at Diamond League 2017

Organisers of the Herculis International Athletics Meeting (Diamond League) in Monaco have announced that the world's fastest man, Usain Bolt will be competing in the 100m sprint on 21st July 2017.

As Bolt prepares for the World Championships in London this August, his warm-up includes a visit to the Herculis International Athletics Meeting on 21st July 2017 in Monaco's Stade Louis II. His farewell tour to athletics the 30-year-old Jamaican sprinter is set to retire later this year.

Bolt's appearance at the annual athletic meeting will also coincide with the 30th anniversary of the event. The 100m world-record holder (9.58sec) is the first person to hold both the 100m and 200m world records and has an incredible eight Olympic gold medals as well as holding eleven World Champion titles.

Earning himself the nickname 'lightening bolt' this animated athlete has won the Laureus World Sportsman of the Year in 2009, 2010, 2013 and again in 2017.
