Qualifying positions will be key in the race that is due to start at 14:00 on Sunday 24th May. Known all around the globe as one of the biggest races on the Formula 1 circuit it comes with it's own individual atmosphere and personality and to some is the greatest victor that can be taken in the sport.

This weekend we look forward to seeing some of the World's top drivers, including double world champion Lewis Hamilton, Nico Rosberg, Kimi Raikkonen, Fernando Alonso and Jenson Button.

The Monaco circuit was closed at 7am this morning, just hours before the Formula 1 first practice took place. With some very heavy storm activity earlier today the the weather system appears to be moving away and we should have a mixture of sunshine and showers for the afternoon. The circuit will open again to the public at 19:30 this evening is you want to examine those tyre marks close up!

It looks to be a great weekend of racing and of events in general with the Amber Lounge hosting some of the most glamorous events of the weekend.
