Monte-Carlo honours Helen Mirren

Award winning actress to receive the Crystal Nymph

The 57th Festival de Television de Monte-Carlo will take place from 16th to 20th June 2017, and honour some of television's most innovative and creative series and documentaries from around the globe.

Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Helen Mirren will be the 2017 recipient of the prestigious Crystal Nymph as recognition of her incredible body of work. Prince Albert II will present Mirren with the honour during the Golden Nymph Awards Ceremony on 20th June in Monaco.

Originally created by Prince Rainier III of Monaco, and now under the Honorary Presidency of Prince Albert II of Monaco, the Monte-Carlo Television Festival has, for more than half a century, presented the very best of television from around the world. The Festival has also been at the forefront in showcasing the highly talented professionals associated with many of the most successful programs in the history of the medium. Celebrities, producers, directors, writers and heads of studios, networks and digital platforms gather in June every year to attend series launches, premier screenings, conferences, press activities, public events, VIP meetings and signing sessions.

This is Monaco's red carpet event and in 2017 we will see TV stars from the USA, the Netherlands, Germany, Brazil, Spain, the UK and France take to the carpet and compete for the Golden Nymph awards.
