The organisers 57th Festival de Television de Monte-Carlo have announced which celebrities will be attending this prestigious event in 2017.

With the return this year of the cult TV series from the 1990s, Twin Peaks, it comes as no surprise that Kyle Maclachlan has confirmed his attendance at Festival de Television in Monaco. The crime drama was mixed with healthy doses of the surreal and saw FBI Agent Dale Cooper (Maclachlan), travel to the small logging town of Twin Peaks to solve the murder of seemingly innocent high schooler Laura Palmer. Twin Peak: The Return, picks up 25 years after the incident and sees Agent Cooper return once again to the town of Twin Peaks.

From Executive Producer Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and show creator Courtney Kemp Agboh (The Good Wife) comes Power, a visionary crime drama set in two different worlds - the glamorous New York club scene and the brutal drug trade. 50 Cent himself plays the character of 'Kanan' in the TV series which is about to enter its fourth season and will be in Monte-Carlo ahead of the season four premiere.

Matt Bomer, star of Chuck and White Collar will also be present for the exclusive preview the series The Last Tycoon. The new show also stars Kelsey Grammer and Lily Collins (daughter of musician Phil Collins) so perhaps the red carpet will have a touch more celebrity sparkle.

Oscar, Emmy and Tony Award-winning actress Helen Mirren will be the 2017 recipient of the prestigious Crystal Nymph as recognition of her incredible body of work.

This 57th edition of the International Television Festival will also host several events that are free and open to members of the public, including children, so don't forget to check out their schedule of events over the five-day event.
