Cap d'Ail Trail
Stroll along the Cap d'Ail coastline
Enjoy the sea breeze as you walk this relatively flat route from just outside Monaco along the coast to Cap Mala and back to the parking at Plage Marquet.
A great walk for any time of year. This trail follows well maintained coastal paths and takes in many impressive coastal mansions including the Eden Palace, and the secret Mala beach. This walk can get very windy as it is exposed and if there is a large swell you may get a little wet as the waves crash against the rocky shoreline.

Directions
Starting at the parking area at Marquet beach the route follows the easy and beautiful coastal path west where you will walk in between large boulders and volcanic rock outcrops. Continue along the path cantilevered over the steep hill and around the Cape Rognoso where you will see the 'Rock Villa'. Here the path widens and you take in some magnificent structures dating from the early 20th century. From Cape Mala the coastal path then leads around the Eden residence, a former Cap d'Ail hotel, and down a few meters to rejoin the coastal path after a tunnel under the road. Follow the coastal path back to the car park at the Marquet beach.
